What Lorton Movers Plan Around

Lorton borders Fort Belvoir to the east and Woodbridge in Prince William County to the southwest. Many Lorton moves cross a base gate or a county line. We plan the route and any access steps before the truck leaves our office.
Housing here changes block by block. Laurel Hill was built on the grounds of the former Lorton Reformatory, and many of its homes are newer townhomes with two-car garages. Lorton Station mixes brick-front townhomes and single-family homes on compact lots near the VRE station. Your move consultant checks where the truck can park and how far the carry will be.
Crosspointe has larger single-family homes from the 1980s and 1990s on wooded lots with winding roads. Mason Neck is more rural. For homes in either area, we confirm truck access to the driveway before move day, so there are no surprises when the movers arrive.
Moving Within Lorton or Out of State
Local moves inside Lorton, or to Newington, Springfield, and Woodbridge, run on the same plan your move coordinator builds with you. For moves to Maryland, D.C., Delaware, or across the country, our long-distance movers pack, load, and deliver your belongings. When your new home isn’t ready yet, storage in transit holds everything in our climate-controlled facility until it is.
Tell us which boxes you need first. We load them last so they come off the truck first, and we set them where you can reach them on your first night.
