Apartment Movers Who Plan Around Your Building

Regal Moving Services provides apartment moving for studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as larger units in walk-ups, garden-style complexes, and high-rise buildings. Our apartment movers plan around the details that slow most apartment moves down, including elevator reservations, loading dock hours, parking, and narrow hallways. Every apartment move includes free floor, doorway, and furniture protection, plus a dedicated move coordinator.

Apartment moves are often firsts. It may be the first place of your own, the first place you share with someone, or the first move in a new city. Our owner is a second-generation mover who believes that every move has a story behind it. We want your apartment move to start that story well.

Building Rules Come First

Most apartment buildings have rules for move days. Before we schedule your move, ask your property manager these questions for both your current and new buildings, and send the answers to your move coordinator.

  • Does the building require an elevator reservation, and for what hours?
  • Are moves limited to certain days or times?
  • Is there a loading dock, and does it need to be reserved?
  • Where can a moving truck park?
  • What does the building require from movers, such as a certificate of insurance?

Elevators, Walk-Ups, and Long Hallways

In an elevator building, the reservation window sets the pace. Your move consultant plans the loading order ahead of time, so your movers use every minute of the reserved window.

In a walk-up, stairs are the main job. Our movers cover stairwells, banisters, and door jambs before the first piece is carried, and we pad-wrap every piece of furniture inside the apartment so it doesn’t scrape walls or railings on the way down.

Garden-style complexes often mean a longer walk between the unit and the truck. Your move consultant checks parking and the carrying distance ahead of time, so we arrive with the right plan.
