Movers for Fort Belvoir Families and Personnel

Regal Moving Services provides Fort Belvoir movers for moves on, off, and out of state. As a family-owned moving company licensed under US DOT 1767696 and MC648853, we move townhomes and single-family homes in the Villages at Belvoir as well as homes in the communities around the base. Our office is in Lorton, which borders Fort Belvoir to the west, and a move coordinator will handle gate planning with you before move day. Many military families move more often than anyone else. Our owner’s father used to say that movers are the first guests in a new home. For a family starting another assignment, we want that first visit to be a good one.

Getting Movers Through the Gate at Fort Belvoir

Fort Belvoir checks every ID at the gate, and access is limited to people with a valid DoD or military ID, their minor dependents, and visitors with a valid pass. Here’s how that shapes your move.

Tulley Gate Is the Entry Point

Visitors without a DoD ID card must use Tulley Gate, and they need a DoD ID-holding sponsor to get a visitor pass. The Visitor Control Center is at 9500 Pohick Road, Building 1409, near the end of the Fairfax County Parkway at Route 1. We plan our route to Tulley Gate for every on-post move.

Sponsor Your Movers Before Move Day

Tell your move coordinator your move date as early as you can. We’ll confirm with you who is sponsoring the movers and what the Visitor Control Center needs from us, so the truck doesn’t wait at the gate.

Weekend and After-Hours Moves

The Visitor Control Center keeps weekday hours. After hours, on weekends, and on holidays, visitors and commercial traffic process through the commercial lanes at Tulley Gate with their sponsor. If your move falls outside weekday hours, plan to meet the movers there.
