Virginia Counties and Cities We Serve
Our coverage map groups the counties below by the roads and conditions they share. Moving to Fort Belvoir or to a farm outside Front Royal raises different questions, so each group gets its own plan.
Fairfax and Arlington Counties and Alexandria
Lorton, Newington, Springfield, and Fort Belvoir sit in southern Fairfax County, a short drive from our office. Fairfax coverage also includes Annandale, Burke, Centreville, Chantilly, Herndon, Reston, McLean, and Vienna, as well as Arlington County and the City of Alexandria. Moves onto Fort Belvoir follow the installation’s gate rules. Visitors without a DoD ID need a sponsor and a background check, and moving companies must be vetted at the Tulley Gate search lanes and have a sponsor. Line up your sponsor before move day so the truck isn’t held up at the gate. Our Lorton, Newington, Springfield, and Fort Belvoir pages cover each community in more detail.
Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park
Prince William County splits into two moving corridors. On the east side, Woodbridge, Dumfries, Triangle, and Quantico line I-95, and Marine Corps Base Quantico has its own interchange at Exit 148. On the west side, I-66 passes Gainesville and Haymarket, and VA 234 connects Manassas with Dumfries via the Prince William Parkway. The independent cities of Manassas and Manassas Park sit inside this western corridor. Our Woodbridge page covers Lake Ridge, Dale City, and Belmont Bay.
Loudoun County
Loudoun coverage runs from Sterling, Ashburn, and Dulles in the east to Leesburg, Purcellville, Round Hill, Hamilton, Lovettsville, and Waterford farther west. VA 28 carries traffic north from the I-66 corridor to Dulles International Airport, and US 15 runs north from Haymarket toward Leesburg. If your property has a long driveway, a gravel lane, or outbuildings to clear, mention it during your estimate so the plan fits the site.
Fauquier, Culpeper, Rappahannock, and Orange Counties
These four counties form the rural Piedmont part of our map, from Warrenton and Marshall to Culpeper, Sperryville, Orange, and Gordonsville. East of I-81, I-66 crosses rural Warren and Fauquier Counties for its first 35 miles, with exits at Markham and Marshall. Distances between towns are longer here than inside the Beltway, so ask about travel time when you request your quote.
Frederick, Clarke, and Warren Counties and Winchester
Our Shenandoah Valley coverage includes Winchester, Stephens City, Middletown, Berryville, Boyce, and Front Royal. I-66 begins at I-81 near Middletown, and Front Royal, the Warren County seat, sits about eight miles east of I-81. Winchester is about 13 miles north of that interchange on I-81.
Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties and Fredericksburg
South of Quantico, I-95 serves Stafford at Exit 143 (Aquia and Garrisonville) and at Exit 140 (Courthouse Road). It then reaches Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania at Exit 126, and Thornburg at Exit 118. Covered towns include Stafford, Garrisonville, Hartwood, Ruby, Fredericksburg, Partlow, Spotsylvania, and Thornburg. This is the southern edge of our local map.
