Moving Into or Out of the Villages at Belvoir

Family housing on Fort Belvoir is privatized and managed by The Michaels Organization. The Villages at Belvoir includes 15 housing villages with homes from three to five bedrooms, mostly townhomes and single-family homes. Each village has its own architectural style, but the moving work is similar: multi-level homes, garages, and shared streets where the truck needs a clear spot.
New housing is still being built on post. Young Village, which broke ground in March 2026, will add 200 three-story townhouses with first-floor two-car garages. Three stories means a lot of stair work, so our movers cover every stairwell and banister before carrying anything down.
Many families also live off post in Lorton, Springfield, Newington, and Woodbridge. We move families from on-post housing to homes in these towns, and back, on the same local move plan.
Storage When Your Dates Don’t Line Up
On-post housing can involve a waitlist, and assignments don’t always match your report date. Storage in transit keeps your household goods in our climate-controlled facility until your home is ready, and then we deliver.
Short-term and long-term storage are both available. We palletize every shipment and monitor it with 24-hour video surveillance.
